 The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's School & Youth Programs are about just how powerful the youth in our schools can be!
Programs like Pennies for Patients, Olive Garden's Pasta for Pennies, and HOP for Leukemia—involve kids by teaching them about community and helping others by joining in the fight against blood cancers. In its 16th year, School & Youth Programs have given students the opportunity to help raise awareness and funds in honor of local patients battling a blood cancer like leukemia. By collecting spare change, kids involved with School & Youth Programs, have raised more than $211 million for research and patient services. This year, LLS continues its efforts to help students see what a difference they can make in someone's life and just how powerful that can be.
