 Olive Garden's Pasta for Pennies
Olive Garden's Pasta for Pennies campaign incorporates service learning into a program that helps fight blood cancers.
How it Works: Students collect spare change for a three-week period during February or March. Funds are collected in honor of a local student survivor and current patients. Many schools incorporate learning activities, kickoff assemblies or classroom competitions to motivate and energize the school community. We'll Make this Easy: LLS provides all the materials your school needs, including: a coordinator guide with step-by-step instructions, collection boxes for classrooms, posters, an educational video, and a letter for each student (K-8) to take home to their parents or guardian Every School is a Winner: By simply donating change and watching the coins add up, each student learns that even a small effort can make a real difference in the lives of others. Schools are also rewarded with various prizes, such pennants and plaques, and the top fundraising classroom in each school wins a pasta lunch catered by Olive Garden. Register Today!
