One of life's most valuable lessons - best learned at a young age - is that we're all made better when we help others. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's School & YouthSM Programs offer children hands-on experiences that cultivate caring, respect and sharing with others. School & Youth Programs also give schools the opportunity to extend fundraising to the larger community, involving faculty and administration, school service organizations, community businesses and the students' extended families. We make the experience fun and energetic, while teaching a short health lesson on plateletts, white and red blood cells. We also talk about the Pennies program and the importance of community involvement. Contact us today to schedule an assembly for your school. But hurry...scheduling is limited, due to the large amount of schools that participate in the program.
